The AOWN works directly with seniors to contract with them to provide HOMEMAKER / CHORE services, these services may be obtained through the AOWN Voucher Program.

HOMEMAKER

Homemaker is defined as providing assistance to persons having difficulty in doing light housework inside the home. It could include: Dusting; vacuuming; general pickup; making beds; clearing counter; dish washing; and basic routine cleaning.

CHORE

Chore is defined as providing assistance to persons having difficulty with heavy housework, yard work, or sidewalk snow maintenance.
